This happened to us in 1915 with a chance meeting of Param Pujya Babuji Maharaj, our sansthapak, with Param Pujya Lalaji Maharaj, who made this objective of his life and introduced many to the path of Sant Mat. It has been a closely and fiercely guarded way of life by which these saints have achieved Divine…..and passed on the secrets to their disciples (seena-ba-seena). Sant Mat is essentially human and hence finds no preferences in community, colour, caste or creed.

We believe it is the law of nature that God reveals His Words through enlightened souls to human beings. In the absence of any personal or collective sense of the sacred, it would be difficult to sustain “faith”. We, at Sant Mat believe that to lead a moral life, apart from a theory of how to live, one necessarily needs a flesh and blood existence in the shape of a Guru.

We have decided to avail of the medium of web so that our dispersed community of satsangis remains connected despite distances…..This endeavor is not aimed at propagation, as initiation into our faith requires personal contact and connect with initiator....................
